Doha – Al Arab. GrowthX Capital announced that it is leading a $5 million Pre-Series A funding round for ALPHA10X, which specializes in developing artificial intelligence solutions to support investment decisions in private markets. This came under an investment agreement signed during a ceremony hosted by Qatar Chamber.

We aim at GrowthX Capital to contribute to building technology companies able to compete globally, starting from Qatar.

The investment is a new step in GrowthX Capital’s direction of deploying capital in technology companies with expansion potential and connecting them to international markets and investors. In step with the deal, ALPHA10X is establishing a presence in Qatar, allowing it to strengthen its relationships with sovereign funds and institutional investors and to broaden its cooperation with asset managers, investment funds and companies operating in global markets.

GrowthX Capital was founded by Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri. Its strategy centers on direct investment in promising startups, alongside investment in venture capital funds that target companies in the founding and growth stages.

Artificial intelligence reshapes investment decisions

ALPHA10X is developing a predictive artificial intelligence platform to support investment decisions. It aims to improve how investment opportunities are evaluated, deals are selected and priced, and their risks are assessed. The platform serves direct investment institutions, asset managers, sovereign funds and companies engaged in acquisitions and institutional investment.

Private markets are seeing growing expansion in the volume of assets and the variety of investment opportunities, while investment decisions are becoming increasingly complex as data sources multiply and vary in quality, and the assumptions behind investment valuations are hard to test. In this context, estimates in the company’s data indicate that assets under management in private markets could reach $65 trillion by 2032, while wealth estimated at around $74 trillion is expected to pass between generations by 2045.

Improving the quality of decisions and risk management

ALPHA10X has developed its technology system, the “ALPHAcodex”, which connects data and investment evidence with the predictive models and analytical rules adopted by institutions. The system aims to document the reasoning behind investment decisions and turn it into a framework that can be tested and evaluated, helping to analyze assumptions, assess areas of uncertainty and achieve greater consistency in evaluation and decision-making, while investors retain final responsibility for their decisions. The platform also makes it possible to use the results of past decisions to develop institutional knowledge and improve analytical models over time, supporting more disciplined, measurable and repeatable investment processes.

Developing products and strengthening predictive capabilities

ALPHA10X has raised $20 million in seed funding. Through its partnership with the strategy consulting firm Kearney, which is also one of its shareholders, it has delivered more than 100 projects in 11 countries, reporting a client satisfaction rate of 88% across more than 80 projects.

The new funding is expected to go mainly toward developing products and strengthening the platform’s predictive capabilities. Over the long term, the company aims to extend the application of its technologies to investment banking and direct investment activities, linking investment analysis with deal valuation, execution and capital allocation.

Developing solutions with sustainable economic value

Hamad Mubarak Al-Hajri, founder of GrowthX Capital, said: “We aim at GrowthX Capital to contribute to building technology companies able to compete globally, starting from Qatar. We believe that directing investment capital toward advanced technologies and distinguished entrepreneurial teams can open new horizons for growth and strengthen companies’ ability to develop solutions with sustainable economic value. Our investment in ALPHA10X is an extension of this vision.”

He added: “We seek to bring together Qatari capital, advanced technology and international expertise to support the development of a company with the ambition and capabilities to expand in global markets. Establishing its presence in Qatar also offers an opportunity to deepen the links between the local investment ecosystem and international technology and investment networks, in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and strengthen the knowledge economy.”

The core value of artificial intelligence

For his part, Robert Marcus, Founder and Group CEO of ALPHA10X, said: “The core value of predictive artificial intelligence in private markets lies in its ability to improve the quality of investment decisions and make their results measurable. We designed the ALPHAcodex system to make investment reasoning clearer, testable and measurable, enabling institutions to learn from the results of their decisions and improve their performance across successive investment cycles.”

“Qatar provides an important strategic base for the company’s next phase of growth, thanks to its proximity to major investment institutions, sources of capital and international financial networks. We look forward to working with GrowthX Capital to strengthen our presence in the Qatari market and to develop solutions that help advance investment decision-making.”
