Kiran Faruqi is an accomplished CFO with a proven track-record of providing strategic financial leadership in high-growth ventures. Kiran develops engines that drive expansion while creating sustainable long-term business value. She was instrumental in transforming Daraz from an idea into South Asia’s leading e-commerce platform, culminating in its successful acquisition by the Alibaba Group. A Chartered Accountant by training, she served as Head of Finance at Rocket Internet, the iconic venture building firm known for replicating – and exiting – successful US startups. Kiran began her career at PWC and held senior finance and audit leadership positions at Philip Morris, and Sun Life. Based in Dubai, she has extensive international experience, in both developed and emerging markets.
