ALPHA10X is an award-winning, AI-native Decision Intelligence platform built for private markets - a market projected to exceed $65 trillion in AUM by 2032, but one in which investment decisions remain constrained by fragmented data, subjective judgment and limited predictive infrastructure. At its core is ALPHAcodex, a governed reasoning system that combines data, inference, institutional memory and continuous learning to generate quantitative signals and probabilistic foresight. The platform is designed to improve underwriting and capital allocation over time: each decision becomes institutional memory, strengthening the intelligence applied to subsequent decisions and creating the potential for a compounding advantage in judgment, conviction and investment performance.

Founded in France, ALPHA10X has progressively shifted its center of gravity to the Middle East as the region has become increasingly important to global capital allocation. The company is establishing its global headquarters and principal operating hub in Doha, providing a strategic base for product development, commercial expansion and global growth.

ALPHA10X has raised $25 million in seed capital from prominent investors and academics and completed more than 70 engagements across 11 countries. The company is now entering its next phase of scale, strengthening leadership, accelerating R&D, building its Doha organization and expanding institutional market penetration ahead of a planned Series A financing.

We are hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to be the engineer our clients work with directly. You will sit at the intersection of our customers, our product, and our engineering team: understanding how expert teams work, then building the integrations, workflows, and AI-powered applications that make ALPHA10X indispensable to them.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will work hand in hand with our Head of Strategy & Solutions: they own the client relationship and the “what” and “why”; you own the “how” and make it real in production. This is a full-stack role, from tweaking a Python service API to improving integration into the frontend application. This is a senior individual contributor role. You will not manage a team; you will shape how we deploy through the solutions you ship, the patterns you turn into reusable product building blocks, and the standards you set by example.

The successful candidate will be someone who takes initiative, stays curious and has an unrelenting drive to push the boundaries of AI and software engineering. They will be adaptive and introspective: willing to learn, guide, lead and follow, with the low ego of someone for whom the outcome matters more than who gets the credit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Deployment & Integration: Lead the technical side of client onboarding and expansion: connecting ALPHA10X to clients’ data sources and internal tools, and configuring the platform to their specific workflows. Own the path from signed contract to a solution the client uses every week.
  • Full-Stack Solution Delivery: Help design and ship client-specific applications into the common trunk, whether as a service or a full-stack application, deployed in Kubernetes. Move fast with a focus on code quality and maintainability.
  • Applied AI in the Field: Put our AI capabilities to work on real client problems: LLM-powered workflows, data connectors over client and market data, and agents built on our platform. Own the difference between a proof of concept that impresses in a meeting and one that holds up in daily use.
  • Partnership with Strategy & Solutions: Work hand in hand with the Head of Strategy & Solutions on discovery, scoping, technical pre-sales, and proofs of concept. Translate ambiguous client needs into a clear technical plan, set realistic expectations, and be the trusted technical voice in front of investment professionals.
  • Feedback Loop into Product & Engineering: Be the field’s voice inside engineering. Spot the patterns across client deployments, turn one-off solutions into reusable components and product features, and bring structured feedback to the Head of Engineering, Product, and the AI team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Software, AI, Data, Product, and Solutions to integrate client work cleanly into the platform. Contribute through code reviews and documentation of what you build, and raise the engineering bar through collaboration and example.

What We Are Looking For

This role requires a combination of full-stack engineering, applied AI, and credibility with clients. We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a Master’s degree (minimum) in computer science or engineering.
  • Has 7+ years in software engineering, including significant time in client-facing technical roles (forward deployed, solutions engineering, technical consulting, or a startup where they shipped directly for customers).
  • Is strong in TypeScript, with experience in Angular and NestJS (or comparable frameworks such as React and Node.js), and is comfortable owning a feature from database to UI.
  • Is customer-obsessed: enjoys sitting with users, understanding their workflow, and solving the problem they actually have.
  • Has an ownership mindset: takes a problem end to end, including the unglamorous parts.
  • Communicates clearly and concisely, and is comfortable working with researchers and engineers alike.
  • Brings pragmatic problem-solving and a bias for action in a fast-moving environment.
  • Mentors through example, making the people around them better without needing authority to do it.

Experience in private markets, asset management, or financial services; with Elasticsearch or search systems; or with document and PDF processing at scale, as well as fluency in French and English, would be valuable.
